Apply for an AthFest Music and Art Grant
The application period for AthFest Educates mini-grants for music and arts starts Thursday, Aug. 1 and runs through Friday, Aug. 9.
Public schools and other organizations are eligible to apply for programs like instrument purchases, field trips, musical and theatrical performances, art projects and scholarships. Grants range from $250-$1,000.
Past recipients include a Chase Street Elementary and Clarke Middle School field trips to the High Museum, ukeleles for the Athens Regional Library, drums for Oglethorpe Avenue Elementary School, Nuci's Space Camp Amped and technology upgrades for Clarke County School District music teachers.
