You may have heard that there are a lot of vague concerns floating around about the future of the Lyndon House Arts Center, as Flagpole and the Athens Banner-Herald have reported. (In case you're stuck on the wrong side of the paywall, here's the short version: They don't know what the hell's going on, either; they just needed a lot more words to say it.)
Maybe a Federation of Neighborhoods meeting tonight can help clear everything up.
"Leisure Services seems to be on the minds of many, as we’ve read and heard at our January forum," the federation says. "Come hear a panel of experts provide their perspectives. A neutral, objective moderator will guide panelist presentations and audience Q&A, requests, and suggestions."
The meeting will be at 7:30 p.m. in the lab at Ciné. Former Leisure Services director Dan Hope—a critic of the department—current director Pam Reidy and her boss, ACC Manager Alan Reddish, are tentatively scheduled to sit on the panel.
