Yup, more events

Fall is a busy time for everyone. And coming up Oct. 14 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Hill (1800 Crescent Lane, out near the Country Club) is the second Annual Autumn Harvest Feast. Chefs Josh Aaron (The Savory Spoon, in Jefferson), Mimi Maumus (home.made Catering), Peter Dale (The National), Sarah Dunning (ex-Gymnopédie), Dean Neff (Five & Ten), Whitney Otawka (Farm 255), Matt Palmerlee (The Branded Butcher), Aaron Phillips (Last Resort Grill), Emmanuel Stone (Harry's Pig Shop) and Jessica Rothacker (Heirloom Cafe) will prepare a family-style locally sourced meal. Hugh Acheson is the special guest, but I don't know if that means he's cooking or not, and String Theory is supplying tunes. Tickets are $60 and support Wholesome Wave Georgia, which funds the doubling of SNAP dollars at the Athens Farmers Market. Tickets can purchased at the farmers' market or at http://autumnharvestfeast2012.brownpapertickets.com.
