Paul's Bar-B-Q in Lexington, Tin Drum in Athens Are Closed

The only appropriate reaction to the news that Paul's Bar-B-Q, in Lexington, served its last meal this Fourth of July is, "Aw, dang."
Open for many years, although only on Saturdays and the Fourth, Paul's served some of the best barbecue in the Athens area, in a surpassingly picturesque environment.

The Athens location of Tin Drum, in Beechwood, has also closed.
