Food roundup below:

If you're in that in-between zone of wanting to prepare your own food but not exactly wanting to shop for it yourself or make too many decisions, PeachDish is a new ingredient-delivery service based out of Atlanta that also reaches the Athens area. Pre-portioned ingredients for two meals that consist of two courses plus a "treat" ship out on Tuesday and arrive Wednesday (in the Atlanta metro area) or Thursday (anywhere else in the country), complete with recipe cards. Visit the website for pricing, menus, details and more.

Frannie's Gluten-Free Muffins, baked by a company out of Atlanta, are now available in Athens-area Krogers and in UGA's Oglethorpe and Snelling dining halls, by request, provided students have met with a campus nutritionist first. The muffins are also dairy-free, nut-free and soy-free.

If you're looking for something a little fancier to nibble on during World Cup action, The National is supplying munchies for those who watch the games on the big screen at Ciné. You can purchase patatas bravas, olives, hummus, stuffed medjool dates, boquerones or "Rosalyn Carter's cheese ring." Times and dates are here.

The Georgia Mountains Farm Tour is set for June 28 & 29. For $35 (per car charge), you can participate in tours of farms in Habersham, Rabun and White county from 1–6 p.m., as well as buy fresh produce (bring a cooler). You can read the whole brochure here, which includes a map of participating farms.

Finally, Speakeasy has a French wine dinner planned with ABC Package tomorrow night (Wednesday). All the wines are imported by Kermit Lynch, and $30 gets you six courses plus pairings. Reservations are required and can be made at 706-546-5556.
