Welcome to Athens Power Rankings. In the spirit of sports rating systems, through painstaking analysis, we rank the top movers and shakers in the Classic City each week. Who's hot? Who's not? Find out below.

1. Steve Decker

The Athens-Clarke County traffic engineer gave us those flags on Prince that have spawned a thousand memes, one of which will win a $25 gift certificate to The Grit.

2. John Cochran and Chris Herron

The president of Terrapin and the CEO of Creature Comforts are two of the many craft brewers pushing to be allowed to sell beer directly to the public.

3. The Georgia General Assembly

The guys who will decide if craft breweries can sell beer directly to the public, along with a bunch of other things, like whether Georgia will continue to be choked with traffic and have an inadequate health care system.

4. Charmaine Enslin

Her new restaurant, Pouch, is the talk of the town.

5. Freedom University

Nine students were arrested Friday after occupying a classroom in protest of the ban on undocumented immigrants attending UGA.
