The Ware-Lyndon House
Hosted by the Athens House Museum Association, this finale for a series of special tours will lead visitors through the holiday history of Athens at the Church-Waddel-Brumby House, Taylor-Grady House and Ware-Lyndon House. Each stop on the professionally guided bus tour will feature a museum house from the Federal, Greek Revival or Victorian architectural periods of the 19th Century decorated according to its place in history. Performances of traditional holiday music on harp and a humorous, historical theater vignette will take place at two of the homes, and the Junior League Cookbook Committee will provide light refreshments along the way. Spots are limited and must be reserved in advance through the Athens Welcome Center at 706-353-1820.
(Various Locations) Attendees may select the times and locations of their choice from the Church-Waddel-Brumby House, TRR Cobb House and Ware-Lyndon House for an on-the-hour guided tour. This event is concurrent with Holiday Open Houses at both the Lyndon House and Brumby House/Athens Welcome Center.
