A**Fest

June 23–26 @ Joker Joker Gallery

Joker Joker Gallery

Launched many moons ago as an alternative for bands left out of official AthFest activities, A**Fest has since expanded into a four-day multimedia event. The Art Installation Trail and Gallery will showcase indoor wall-bound works as well as creations scattered throughout the woods, with an opening reception Thursday from 5–9 p.m. Over 50 acts—Rat Babies, Mr. Blank, Sahima Godkhindi, Donny Knottsville and Genetic Outcast, to name a few—will perform over the following three days, with a Weirdo Yardsale kicking off Saturday and Sunday at 9 a.m. Following a late-afternoon cookout, the Battery Powered Noise Fest IV (exactly what it sounds like) will close the weekend out Sunday evening with electricity-free acts.
