The project “Game/Show” invites 30 local artists to collectively create one wall-spanning work. Each player receives three two-minute turns to draw instructions from a ball hopper—directions such as “make a childlike black mark” or “use your non-dominant hand”—to guide their contributions. In between turns, artists can play Exquisite Corpse and other collaborative games. Many of the participants will also contribute framed artworks 20-by-20-inches or smaller to decorate the remaining gallery space. Anyone interested in making their mark on the wall can request a spot by Thursday, June 30 by emailing [email protected], and everyone is welcome to watch the artists at work.
