Mary Lattimore

Harpist Mary Lattimore put together an impressive string of indie-rock supporting appearances—with artists like Thurston Moore, Kurt Vile, Sharon Van Etten and many other notables—before releasing the Slant of Light LP, a duet with multi-instrumentalist Jeff Zeigler, in 2014. Last year, Lattimore struck out on her own with At the Dam, a five-track record inspired by a period of solo wandering across the United States. With only her harp and a few effects pedals, Lattimore crafts magical, meditative pieces that reflect the wonder and solitude of her travels. Shapeshifting New York post-punk band Parquet Courts headlines Saturday’s Georgia Theatre show.
