“Searching” by Phoebe Szymanski
Ranging from paintings, photographs and works on paper to sculptures, metalwork and fiber art, the Lyndon House’s annual juried exhibition presents a large collection of strong works by both experienced and emerging artists, including Katherine Burke, Andy Cherewick, Margot Ecke, Will Eskridge and Phoebe Szymanski. The exhibition was juried by Susan Krane, a curator and arts administrator who formerly served as the executive director of the San Jose Museum of Art. Krane selected a total of 162 pieces from a pool of 797 submissions by 313 artists. Gallery talks with artists will be held every Thursday in April at 6 p.m., and the exhibition will remain on view through May 6.
