The Dodd Galleries will host a closing reception to celebrate the final night of three exhibitions sharing contemporary work. Challenging printmakers to contribute at least two different hand-pulled processes, “Alter Ego” is a portfolio of works by 22 artists, including Ali Norman, Carey Good, Curtis Bartone, Katherine Miller and Kaleena Stasiak. Curated by Mike Calway-Fagen, “condition: fresh - UTK 3D MFA” is an exchange between sculpture students at UGA and the University of Tennessee. Nicole Pietrantoni, an assistant professor who teaches printmaking and book arts at Whitman College, explores the tension between picturesque scenes of nature and environmental change through her solo exhibition, “The Falls.”
