Like classic-rock clockwork, Athens legend Randall Bramblett is back with his annual new album, in this case titled Juke Joint at the Edge of the World and out July 7 via Bramblett’s longtime label, New West. The inimitable songwriter and guitarist’s 11th studio record “reflects the freedom that my bandmates and I have found in the last few years of playing together,” he is quoted as saying in a press release. “Garbage Man,” Juke Joint’s playful, soulful first single—available to stream in advance of the album’s arrival—is full of Bramblett’s typical warmth and wit, as he continues to settle into an agreeable second-act groove. Texas-based blues singer-songwriter Seth Walker opens Saturday’s Foundry show.
