(L to R) Claudio Cruz, Ana Flávia Frazão, Sergio Gallo, Markus Placci and Arthur Ross
The Hugh Hodgson School of Music’s three-day festival presents international artists alongside university faculty. Brazilian violinist Cláudio Cruz, Brazilian pianists Ana Flávia Frazão and Sergio Gallo, Italian violinist Markus Placci and Augusta-based violist Arthur Ross will perform every night as guest musicians. Faculty members, including Michael Heald, Milton Masciadri, D. Ray McClellan, Maggie Snyder, David Starkweather and Liza Stepanova, will accompany them. Directed by Milton Masciadri and held in the Ramsey Concert Hall, each night’s performance will vary among selections by classical masters like Schubert, Brahms and Beethoven, as well as Latin American composers.
UGA faculty and artists from across the globe perform chamber music pieces. See Calendar Pick on p. 20.
