Celebrating several new exhibitions, the museum’s thrice-annual party features music by DJ Reindeer Games and WesdaRuler, complimentary refreshments and late-night access to the galleries. “Modern Masters from the Giuliano Ceseri Collection” shares 19th and 20th Century works on paper, while “Louise Blair Daura: A Virginian in Paris” includes all known paintings and drawings by the artist. “Martha Odum: Art Intersects Ecology,” an exhibit of watercolor paintings and nature-inspired silver pieces, acknowledges the UGA Eugene P. Odum School of Ecology’s 50th anniversary. “Muse: Mickalene Thomas Photographs and tête-à-tête” includes over 40 images by Thomas, as well as a selection by artists who inspire her.
