Greg Kihn

Monday, Jan. 8 @ The Foundry

Pop singer-songwriter and FM radio lifer Greg Kihn is known primarily for two early-’80s chart-toppers—glittery groover “Jeopardy,” famously parodied by “Weird Al” Yankovic in 1984, and “The Breakup Song (They Don’t Write ’Em),” which remains a classic-rock staple. Alongside The Modern Lovers, Earth Quake and other Beserkley Records contemporaries, Kihn helped usher in the golden age of power-pop. In the wake of ReKihndled, the Greg Kihn Band’s first studio album in two decades, Kihn brings his acoustic tour, dubbed “Greg Kihn's ’80s: Jagger, ‘Jeopardy’ and Breakup Songs and Stories,” to The Foundry Jan. 8.
