The brewery’s quarterly, family-friendly party celebrates “The Broadside Exhibition Project: verse 1,” a new series that pairs Athens and Atlanta poets and artists to create illustrated poems together. The 15 broadsides include collaborative efforts by Claire Cronin and Hannah Burton, Frank Montesonti and Chris Taylor, Hayley Brooks and Hannah Betzel and Marcus Keith and Gunnar Tarsa. The event features an interactive printmaking station and collaborative installation, as well as readings by local writers. Music will be provided by DJ Comforts, and Manila Express will be on-site with Filipino food. In addition to the exhibition, which will remain on view through Apr. 1, reproductions of the broadsides will be installed in shop windows and wheat-pasted onto buildings around town.
