Over the past two decades, stand-up comedian and actor Dom Irrera has made appearances on television shows including “The Late Show with David Letterman,” “The Daily Show With Jon Stewart,” “Seinfeld” and “Everybody Loves Raymond.” Irrera’s Athens set will be preceded by New Orleans-based comedian Matt Owens, who, in addition to opening for Hannibal Buress and Dave Stone in the past, starred in the indie film Pensacola Prophet: The Story of Pecan Pinwheelie. The evening will kick off with a performance by The Mockingbirds, a tribute band led by Dana Downs, Heli Montgomery Dunn and Lisa Mende singing ’60s pop gems by the likes of the Shirelles and Shangri-Las.
