African Soul
The fourth annual Rhythm on the River Fest, a fundraiser for Chess and Community, will happen Sunday at Big Dog’s on Atlanta Highway. The $15 ticket price includes all entertainment, food and games. The lineup is presented by AthFactor Entertainment and will feature African Soul, Devas Tigerettes (a majorette competition team), Floyd Weaver, WiseXpressions Dance Studio and family-friendly hip-hop performances by Ishues, DK, Squalle, Kid Arsenic, Billy D. Brell, Dictator, Cassie Chantel, Daw Jones, DUI the Hip-Hop Educator and Street Legacy Muzik. Montu Miller is your host.

The family-friendly festival includes volleyball, badminton, cornhole and games of chess. Food is included in the admission and kayaking is available for an additional charge. Performances by Life the Griot, Linqua Franqa, Kishi Bashi, Sqaulle, LB and more. Proceeds benefit Chess and Community.
