Co-founded by Jean Biddle and Lisa Mende, the Athens-based Artist2Artist nonprofit spotlights local artists and musicians while raising money for underprivileged and disadvantaged residents. Its next fundraiser happens Saturday at The Foundry. Dubbed “Party With a Purpose,” proceeds from the show will benefit The Cottage and DIVAS Who Win Freedom Center, both of which assist area victims of human trafficking. Performers include Los Angeles guitarist Ali Handal, known for her fiery, bluesy rock style; Atlanta funk crew Gurufish; and teen guitar-and-violin duo Fly Bye. Tickets are $20, or $35 if you want access to a pre-show reception.
