Normaltown Flea
Indie South, which operates as both a boutique shop and one of the largest artist markets in the Southeast, has relocated its Normaltown headquarters to 470 Hawthorne Ave., the brick building formerly occupied by Sons of Sawdust. Its first official event will host a handful of vendors selling vintage, collectible and handmade items. The larger space will be able to accommodate more curated inventory, workshops, events and shared studio space, while the adjacent parking lot can host outdoor markets, food trucks, performances and mini-fests. In addition to physical space, Indie South plans to expand its services to include branding, marketing, web and graphic design, and consultation for small businesses.
