Amy Watts
With the new school year comes a new lineup of featured artists in the galleries, which are now under the direction of art teacher Luke Graves, who has replaced longtime gallery curator Lawrence Stueck following his retirement. An opening reception will be held for an exhibition of paintings by Amy Wilmoth Watts and sculptures by Jack Kehoe. The school’s galleries are currently hosting three additional exhibitions: ceramic works by members of Southern Star Studio (reception Sept. 23), quilts and watercolors by Elizabeth Barton, and photographs and artwork collected during student trips to Greece and Italy. Outside of receptions, visitors are welcome to visit the galleries every Monday–Friday from 8 a.m.–4:30 p.m., and are requested to check in first at the Chambers Center.
