The gallery’s season will close out with an artist roundtable discussion and reception for the 2018 Juried Exhibition. Guest juror Teresa Bramlette Reeves, who received a PhD in art history from UGA, is currently the director of curatorial affairs for the Zuckerman Museum of Art at Kennesaw State University. From a pool of approximately 150 submitted entries, she selected 27 pieces by 22 artists who reflect a diverse range of contemporary ideas and approaches. Highlights include paintings by R.B. Pruett and Gwen Gunter, embroidered felt by Eli Saragoussi, crochet on hula hoops by Susan Sellew, sculptures by Dia Webb and collages by Diane Speight and Kaleena Stasiak.
The 2020 Juried Exhibition features works of art in a wide range of media. The closing event features an artists in roundtable discussion.
