As a nonprofit and volunteer-run gallery, ATHICA greatly relies on memberships—which offer perks like space rental, pop-up shows and other gifts in return—to keep its programming running smoothly. The third annual Members’ Showcase not only rewards supporters by ensuring their artwork makes it to the walls of a professional gallery, but offers an interesting time capsule of the current arts scene for viewers. Two-dimensional and three-dimensional works in all media were considered for inclusion, as long as submissions were created within the past two years and have not been shown previously in town. The exhibition will remain on view through Feb. 10.
