Okey Dokey, Boa

Saturday, Apr. 6 @ Georgia Theatre Rooftop

Sometimes, a breakup just creates puzzle pieces that will fit back together later on. That was the case with Aaron Martin and Johny Fisher when the former bandmates decided to come back together and begin anew as Okey Dokey. The Nashville duo recruited friends to collaborate on their 2017 debut album Love You, Mean It, and their live shows. The group’s second album, Tell All Your Friend, came out Mar. 22 and follows suit as a collaborative endeavor—contributors include Rayland Baxter and Liz Cooper and the Stampede. The band’s sophomore effort maintains the free-flowing, chill vibes of its debut as it ties together psychedelia and soul. Okey Dokey will be joined in Athens by Louisville, KY indie-rock band Boa.
