An image by Barbara Bosworth from her recent monograph The Heavens
The Humid, a new space co-founded by photographers Irina Rozovsky and Mark Steinmetz in the Leathers Building, presents Barbara Bosworth, a professor of photography at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design. Exploring both overt and subtle relationships between humans and the natural world, her large-format images invite viewers to look closely at the detail. Bosworth’s artist talk and book signing will feature a pop-up display of handmade photo books by Dust Collective, as well as a reading by Andrew Zawacki, director of UGA’s creative writing program and author of five poetry books. Bosworth will stay through the weekend to offer a two-day workshop on nighttime photography.
