Exploring the dichotomy between nature and technology, Will Eskridge paints approachable portraits of animals that draw attention to both the fragility and resilience of ecosystems. His latest exhibition spotlights misunderstood creatures and challenges viewers to contemplate how our technologically advanced society can sustainably coexist with animals. A third of all art sales will be donated to Friends of Bear Hollow, a volunteer organization that supports the Bear Hollow Zoo at Memorial Park in its mission of rehabilitating non-releasable native wildlife. Located in The Glass Building on South Milledge Avenue, “Primal Dreams” can be visited on weekdays through July 5 from 10 a.m.–4 p.m.
