Envision Athens One Year Celebration
Tuesday, Sept. 24 @ Athens Community Career Academy
Dedicated to implementing a 20-year blueprint for community and economic development, Envision Athens is a citywide effort between community and government leaders that focuses on issues pertaining to social services, housing, land use, education, the arts, transportation and other factions of everyday life. The anniversary party will overview progress towards achieving these goals, as well as identify necessary steps for moving forward. The celebration will include culinary creations from local staples, plus a community showcase intended to help attendees become more familiarized with each of EA’s various domains. In addition, Good Neighbor Awards will recognize multiple community leaders.
