Brittainy Lauback
Bringing the joyful abandon of summertime bliss into the fall season, “FUN” is a new group exhibition that focuses on the lighter, more leisurely side of things. Brittainy Lauback’s photographs capture the pleasure of pools and fairgrounds, while Kim Truesdale’s found objects inspire nostalgia and amusement. Marla Star’s drawings and Jolene O’Brien’s decorated vinyl both draw viewers closer with their meticulous dots. The show also includes collage by Hannah Betzel, embroidery by Katherine Miele and painting by Neil Hancock. The opening reception coincides with a percentage night that benefits the Wild Rumpus and features a live DJ on the patio.
