Designed to raise awareness of mental health issues, Brain Aid Fest concludes its seven-day run with a show in memory of Athens artist and musician Mina Kim, who died last year. The evening kicks off with an appearance by Elephant 6 OG Robert Schneider, who will demonstrate his Teletron synthesizer, which is controlled by the performer’s brain waves. Je Suis France, the longtime Athens/Atlanta indie-rock supergroup, will debut tracks from its upcoming album, Back to the Basics of Love. Others on the bill include Charleston, SC, jammers Tomatoband, local folk project Sailors and Ships, Harry Carey frontman Jim Willingham and more.
