“People, Places, Things” presents images by members of the Atlanta Photography Group, a nonprofit arts organization established in 1987 to serve as a community for both novice and professional photographers through exhibitions and programming. Thirty-five artists were selected to share their unique perspectives capturing the world around them. The opening reception will be preceded by a juror talk with Samuel Gerace III, curator of photography at the Booth Western Art Museum in Cartersville, who will offer insight into the process of selecting artists and images for the exhibition. “People, Places, Things” will remain on view through Jan. 18.
