“Master, Pupil, Follower: 16th- to 18th-Century Italian Works on Paper” includes roughly 30 drawings and prints to represent distinct artistic styles and Italian regional schools from a pivotal time in art history. Artists include Giulio Romano, Claudio Ridolfi, Palma il Giovane, Guercino, Giulio Benso, Giovanni Battista Tiepolo, Giovanni Benedetto Castiglione, Salvatore Rosa and more. The afternoon tour will be led by Nelda Damiano, the museum’s Pierre Daura Curator of European Art, who co-curated the exhibition alongside Robert Randolf Coleman, professor emeritus of Renaissance and Baroque art history at the University of Notre Dame, and Benedetta Spadaccini of Biblioteca Ambrosiana in Milano.
