1. Phil Lanoue

The Clarke County School District superintendent is up for national superintendent of the year, an award that will be handed out later this week. Read more about Lanoue in Wednesday's Flagpole.

2. Frank Grill

The parent of a University of Georgia student sparked a panic on campus when he took to Facebook to accuse UGA of covering up a case of bacterial meningitis (strongly denied by university and health officials).

3. Scott Orvold

The Georgia Theatre's talent booker has lined up a ridiculously good slate of concerts this spring.

4. Lori Bork Newcomer

The award-winning architect opened up her Pulaski Heights home for a WUGA fundraiser on Saturday. She's also in charge of Half-Moon Outfitters' New Way Cleaners renovations, featured in the upcoming Flagpole
