The AthFest Music and Arts Festival has revealed many more of the artists who will perform at this year’s event, the music portion of which is slated for June 23–25.
In addition to already-announced headliners Futurebirds, Zoogma and Drivin’ N Cryin’, bands who will play the festival’s free outdoor stages include Ruby the Rabbitfoot, Packway Handle Band, Lullwater, Powerkompany, Five Eight, Blacknerdninja, Beverly “Guitar” Watkins and others. The KidsFest stage will feature performers for and by young people, including Rebecca Sunshine Band, Connor Byers and more.
Artists who will appear as part of the Club Crawl Friday and Saturday evenings include Cindy Wilson of the B-52s, Television’s Richard Lloyd, Lilly Hiatt and Muuy Biien, who will all play the Georgia Theatre; of Montreal, Monsoon and New Madrid, who will hit the 40 Watt stage; T. Hardy Morris, Thayer Sarrano and Monsoon at the Caledonia Lounge; Universal Sigh, Polymath and Robbie Dude at Live Wire; Harlot Party, Feather Trade and Four Eyes at Ciné; and many more.
AthFest activites kick off Wednesday, June 21 with the LaughFest comedy showcase at the Georgia Theatre, featuring Ron Funches, Shane Mauss and others.
In addition to the venues mentioned above, participating Club Crawl locations include Flicker Theatre & Bar, The Globe, Hendershot’s, Go Bar, Little Kings Shuffle Club and The World Famous. Wristbands are available for $22 until May 31, when they’ll increase to $25.
