While Athens prepares for the onslaught of music, art and tech that will comprise this weekend's Slingshot Festival, the organizers of this summer's AthFest have announced that wristbands for the fest's Club Crawl are now available.

Those wristbands, which allow access to all official AthFest venue shows on June 26 & 27, as well as discounted tickets to various associated events (including the Flagpole Athens Music Awards) are $20 through April, after which the price will climb to $25. In June, they will cost $30.

You can purchase wristbands, as well as various other merch, including T-shirts designed by local artist Matt Blanks, at the AthFest Educates webstore. 

In addition, AthFest will host a CD release party for this year's compilation album, which contains music from Reptar, T. Hardy Morris, The Whigs, Tedo Stone and many more, on Saturday, Apr. 18 at the Georgia Theatre.

Five bands from this year's compilation album—Saturn Valley, Uncle Dad, New Wives, Dana Swimmer and Tedo Stone—will perform at that show. CDs, which don't officially hit streets until June 2, will be available for purchase at the concert.
