Hear Patterson Hood Perform on 'Mountain Stage' (Mike Mills, Too)
Yesterday, NPR's "Mountain Stage" broadcast featured local Southern rock songwriter Patterson Hood and his band. You can stream the episode on NPR's website, and watch Hood's interview with host Larry Groce below.
The episode, which was recorded last February at UGA's Performing Arts Center and originally broadcast back in May, also features R.E.M. bassist Mike Mills, who shows up near the end to sing guest vocals on Hood's anti-Walmart jam "After It's Gone."
Hood's band Drive-By Truckers plays three nights at the 40 Watt Club beginning this Thursday.
EDIT: The 40 Watt tells Flagpole that it will release 20 more tickets to both of the sold-out Friday and Saturday DBT shows at 1 p.m. EST today (Monday). Get those clickin' fingers ready!
