The lineup for the Hopscotch Music Festival, which will take over downtown Raleigh, NC from Sept. 5-7, has been announced. As always, it's one of the more impressively curated summer fests, pulling from a mixture of local and regional favorites and impressive but unobvious national/international names, with a decided focus on the experimental end of the spectrum.

Headliners this year include rapper Big Boi, who torched the Georgia Theatre last week (but not really y'all: jokes!), psych rock legends Spiritualized and alt-rockers The Breeders, who will perform their famed 1993 album Last Splash in its entirety. Velvet Undergrounder-turned-chamber-pop hero John Cale will perform, as will Odd Future enigma Earl Sweatshirt and the steadily awesome Kurt Vile and the Violators.

The full lineup is below. Three-day wristbands for the fest are $125 (VIP 'bands are $180), and can be purchased here. Having attended the event last year, I can say with some authority that it's one of the more satisfying festival experiences out there.
