The separate musical endeavors of locals Grant and Rachel Evans have had many names: Motion Sickness of Time Travel, Crippling and Nova Scotian Arms, to name a few. But when they perform together, it's known as Quiet Evenings—an entirely appropriate moniker, given the serene, immersive qualities of their shared output.
On Thursday, Feb. 21, Belgian label Aguirre will release Impressions, the full-length follow-up to last year's excellent Patience Folding Waters. You can pre-order now through the Aguirre site. It'll run ya 15 Euros, which translates to about 20 bucks, according to Google.
