Today's Office Jam(s)! The Weeks, The Gregory Brothers

Hear a couple tunes the Flagpole office is diggin' on

Welcome to Today's Office Jam!, where we share a tune someone in the Flagpole office is diggin' on. Today we present not one but two jams, courtesy of music intern Jennifer Barron and city editor Blake Aued, respectively.

Jennifer Barron's Office Jam: The Weeks rose out of the music scene in Mississippi and create music that blends rock and folk. “The House We Grew Up In,” released as a single from the band’s new album Gutter Gaunt Gangster, simultaneously inspires dancing, screaming the lyrics as loudly as possible and playing a little air guitar too.

Blake Aued's Office Jam (he would): Prefer your news in pop song form? The Gregory Brothers got you covered—they AutoTuned the highlights of last night's debate. "Whoever sings best gets four years to run the show." The only way this could be better is if they'd used Jim Lehrer's stutters for beats.
