The Welfare Liners

Tonight's live-music options are numerous and promising, starting with Thayer Sarrano's album-release show at Seney-Stovall Chapel and continuing on to:

Another record-release party, for The Welfare Liners' Just Stars for Light, taking place at Hendershot's and also featuring honorary Athenian Tony Tidwell.

Over at the Caledonia Lounge, catch rising Atlanta rockers Kick the Robot, along with fellow ATLien funk-boys The Space Time Travelers and folk duo The Threadbare Skivvies.

If you're curious about the new local anarchist bookstore downtown, go check 'em out tonight: They're hosting an all-ages, no-alcohol punk/screamo show featuring Baltimore's Eyelet, Michigan's Threading and a cast of supporting locals.

Elsewhere: Karl Denson's Tiny Universe plays the Georgia Theatre, Richard Gumby and Cult of Riggonia play Go Bar, and country singer Scott Brantley headlines the 40 Watt Club.
