Our Favorite UGA Football Tribute Songs of 2013

Sure, UGA's football season may have been a crushing disappointment on multiple levels, but that doesn't take away from the awkward YouTubian glory that is the fanmade fight song. Thankfully, 2013 was a banner year for Georgia Bulldog tributes. Check out our favorites below:

The best (or worst, depending on your perspective) was undoubtedly Mark Richt's son David Richt's nightmarish "Dawg Bite," a collaboration with country-rapper Colt Ford that came prepackaged with one of the most GIF-worthy scenes in YouTube history (still photo seen above). Shortly after its release, Coach Richt disowned his son.

Coming in a close second was "Bulldog City," a jam from the minds behind Dawg Gone Good BBQ that fails to act in any way as an advertisement for said restaurant. A missed opportunity, for sure, but a weirdly infectious tune:

Then there was "Southern Flavor," a song from local rapper Versatyle tha Wildchyld. It was less fan-fawning and click-baity (OK, it was still pretty click-baity) and more nitty-gritty, utilizing Bulldog fandom as a jumping-off point rather than a main focus.

Finally, it's not a fan-made tribute, but the video of the UGA football team doing the Harlem Shake (hey, remember the Harlem Shake?) alongside a giant panda person deserves one final moment in the spotlight:

We're sure there were other good ones. Feel free to post links in the comments and we'll add them to the list.
